Annie Mist Thorisdottir was born in Reykjavik, in Iceland. She is a CrossFit pro athlete. She trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the only woman to take home in the CrossFit Games twice. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media aficionado. The media acclaim came from her becoming the first woman to have taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements include winning Dubai Fitness Competitions in 2017, and 2013. Annie was born in Iceland's Reykjavik area with her family. At a young age Annie was an avid sport fan who loved exercising. She took home numerous awards at school events. In 2009 she began participating in the CrossFit events in California where she was able to perform very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. She's 5'7 tall and weighs about 67 pounds. Annie began CrossFit in California in the year 2009. Her performance was good in her initial competitions, placing with the top 10. She was not able to earn any awards, and finished 11th on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen. She finished with a second place finish and earned a silver medal in the same year. The following year, she again participated in the CrossFit Games and due to her dominant performance she won the contest and became the first woman ever to win CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie also won the CrossFit Games because of her outstanding performance. In addition, she became the first female athlete to have was able to win two CrossFit Games consecutively. She also received a medal of silver in 2014 and an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. After gaining fame as an athlete, Annie has appeared as a spokesperson for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance The Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekick, Yerbae and a host of others. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her own Youtube channel where she posts videos for training, family and other videos along with travel vlogs.
