Anna Christine Nalick was born in New York, Anna. The album she released as her debut Wreck of the Day which included Breathe as her first radio hit came out on 19 April 2005. Nalick left her record label Sony in 2009 after an argument over the release of her second album. Anna Nalick is a multi-platinum selling singer and songwriter born in California and, in the midst of writing all her own songs, has been writing with other musicians since the age of fifteen. Anna Nalick dropped her debut studio album Wreck of the Day in 2004, which included her chart-topping debut single Breathe 2AM. It soared to the top of the charts, and took Nalick on a nearly five-year world tour. Epic Records released Shine just prior to when Nalick decided to become an independent artist.
